I am a vacuum collector, but one vacuum i dont have in my colectiion is a Dyson DC07. I have a Dyson DC33, but i really want a DC07. This Dyson is a DC07 Root 8 Cyclone model. Its a redish pink color and a purple color. I am not sure if this model is uncommon or rare, but i dont really care because i just really want a Dyson DC07. If you see any on eBay for a pretty cheap price, let me know. This Dyson is 40 dollars, but it is 50 minutes away from my house, is it worth it? Also what is a good price for these vacuums? Most of them sell for 100 on eBay,, but i think 40 is a good price to pay. The seller says that the vacuum doesnt have as great suction as it used to, but i have looked up videos on youtube on how to fix that. Please tell me what you think. The Dyson i would be getting is pictured below.

Dyson DC07

I LOVE my DC07!!! Its the only machine I go to for daily use and the best part is I only paid 15 dollars for it and its in mint condition! Sometimes you can find really great deals on craigslist.

While you may love your DC07,

I don't love mine. I got the full kit version (Turquoise and purple) DC07 for 25$ (after trading-in A bagged and Bagless Bissell Pwerforce and The salesman threw-in an Oreck Handheld Vacuum), And I absolutely do not like this vacuum. The carry handle on the dust-cup snapped in 2 places, the suction tube thing from the side of the cleaner to the floor-head is falling apart, and refuses to stay in place. the filter thing keeps popping out, too.

I don't see why everyone loves Dysons, I'm likely to take some rusty, degrading, de-composing, scratched-up, severelishly un-believable/ Un-Comprehensible overloaded Bagged LRRSB-57 or Hoover Convertible (That is if I only had to have one vacuum

I apologize for my rant,

Alex, you have a Lemon Dc07, I had 2 yellow DC07's, an animal, 2 allergy's and an all floors, I had 2 of which are the same as yours, I have been happy with all Dysons I had! apart from the Dc03

Wow!

Sounds like you did get a lemon. I haven't had mine long, but have had no problems at all with it. The clip that holds the dusting brush in is broken but that's how it was when I bought it from the seller. I guess only time will tell how long it lasts! Also BELEIVE me I do know dyson's are NOT the best vacuums in the world! Our home has hardwood floors and some area rugs as well as LOTS of above floor cleaning and the dyson Is very versatile in doing all of these jobs which is why I like it so much. Now if I had a whole house full if carpet I'd rather have an old Hoover or a Kirby any day.

My Dyson DC-14 All Floors has been repaired under warranty twice. Once it needed the little device that switches from floor to above floor cleaning when you put the handle into the upright position replaced, as that kept falling down in use and not allowing the handle to go up. The other time it was repaired the cord had to be replaced as it was getting too hot and kinked, and the clutch and brushroll were replaced because it stopped cleaning carpets as well as it had before.

Dyson does have great customer support, though Sears takes forever to repair it and then they don't call to tell you it was repaired.

dc33 has the 8 root cyclone, but they just call it the root cyclone. I say go for the dc07 as it is generally the same as a dc33, but with more capacity. on a side note, I just don't get why dyson always makes smaller bins on the newer models! I swear, you LITTERALLY have to empty the bin more often where as the dc07 you just empty it only when needed!
