Dyson DC02 De Stijl bargain

Picked this up tonight for a tenner,motor works perfectly and the unit is mint aswell. Just needs a purple bananna and a set of tools and it will be complete. If anyone in the uk could help me with these parts drop a comment. Purple hose was included but just not in picture.

How do you get the bins so clear? I noticed WD40 attracts dust, even a litle bit but ah well

Pleased you like it guys. I need a de stijl handle for it and also a set of tools. Does anyone have any? Also genuine filters for it or are the compatibles ok? Should i put a hepa in or will it cause the motor to get too hot like the dc01 de stijl and absolutes did. Then again the filters are tiny on the hepa dc01s the panel is quite big on the 02.

Once I seen a REALLY PRSTINE AND COMPLETE DC02 De Stijl all original etc etc etc etc etc like 2 years ago at the carboot (no box) and it was £25, thought it was a rip off well if course not! I didnt know then

Ive asked the lady if its her best price she said yes lol. I paid less than that for the whole machine so i cant see the logic in paying that just for a handle. There is a seller on ebay called kaysmith who is absolutly brilliant. I have a lot of dyson bits off her and the prices are rock bottom. Il keep an eye out myself.

Also parwaz it has a grey flex on it but luckily i have a purple flex with yellow plug spare so i will put that on for originality. I believe i need a purple non twisting stair tool a small red and purple brush tool and the short red crevice. I even opened the tool holder really slowly but it was empty lol.

Aw, opening the tool holder slowly I know how you feel, I had a similar situation when I bought a DC01 and wanted to see if it was Ametek or YDK, Thank GOD it was YDK!!!

Ive actually sold on all my non limited edition dysons. I now only have dc01 de stijl dc02 de stijl dc04 de stijl and dc07 clic. Stil got my miele and also hetty now has a boyfriend (james). Apart from that the others have all gone. Sebo packed up and the dc07 animal and dc01 silver yellow dc19 allergy have now gone.

there is chance I might have something I've got a big garage full of dyson parts so i will have a look tomorrow.also this model is supposed to have a grey cable with a red plug.
