Well, not sure it will be worth any trouble, the youngest of the "kids" has just called, bagless Bissell he says,trashed beater bar, not sure it runs. I told him to bring it next visit, I may have to wear gloves! Let you know how it goes. d.

I find alot of those. Usually the hose is clogged in the back of the beater bar at the bend and the filters are neglected.

I'm not crazy about the bagless though, so I usually just clean them up and find them a new home.

Probably same plan on my part. He said it looked really good, hardly a scratch, most tools with it. Guessing plugged up, or they had no idea it had filters. I think he said it was green?

That's the most common vacuum I find in the garbage, and it is always the hose that is plugged up. Bissell's problem is that they hide the filters in them though! If you empty it after every use and clean the filters once a week, they are actually pretty good vacuums

I was thrifting today

and found a bagged Hoover Windtunnel (sp?) that looked pretty good. Only problem is someone else already claimed it. :-( I also found a Bissel Lift Off, but the hose was so jacked up, it wasn't worth what they were asking for it. That's OK because I was really looking for Christmas decorations. I did find some nice stuff so it wasn't a total loss.

I have a couple bagged windtunnels, found two already that someone had stuck a type A bag in (instead of the Y) and they plugged up.

My mom has an orange Hoover Empower (bagless) she just loves I found a few months back, it looks brand new, had a sock lodged in the tube behind the beater bar.
