Donating a vacuum cleaner collection of a lifetime

VacuumLand – Vintage & Modern Vacuum Enthusiasts

Help Support VacuumLand:

I hope everyone knows they can come see Eric's amazing collection as well as Stan Kann's collection at any time. The Vacuum Museum is attached to my vacuum sales and repair shop. The Museum is 2500 square feet of displayed vintage vacuums along with period advertising, displayed by their decades. Eric's collection is celebrated with it's own section of the Museum.

Town Car

Steve, yes! Good eye! It's a 89 Lincoln all original with every option.
We also had a few cars including an 84 Maserati BiTurbo, 89 Ford Taurus SHO,
57 Buick Super Riviera and a 87 Mercedes 560 SEL. We kept the Benz and bought a new Chrysler 300.
Barry, only you will know when it's time. Don't beat yourself up. I will share with you that I feel freer now that I know everything is in the right hands. As for the cars I secretly kept writing down everyone's name that said "If you ever decide to sell".
Everyone else; Thank you again for your kind words and thoughts!

Town Car

I spotted the Town Car too! My grandparents had an '89 Signature Series when I was a kid and I loved it! My other "cool" grandparents drove a '91 Firebird at the time but I didn't really care, I was into the Town Car! It's a shame there is nothing left from Detroit that even compares to cars like this anymore.

That's why it's more important than ever that we keep the gems of Detroit soldiering on. I've got an '88 Town Car with 133,000 miles and an '86 Continental 4-door bustleback. They ride beautifully, but getting certain parts is somewhat harder than their Cadillac counterparts from the late '80's.

I was born a car nut. I don't think there was a car I didn't like. I can usually find something to like about any of them.
That being said, I've always been especially drawn to the big luxury cars.
I go back and forth between which I would want more; certain years of Lincoln Town Car, or certain years of of Cadillac DeVille/Fleetwood/Brougham. Has to be the rear wheel drive models.
The closest I've come so far is a 1994 Buick Roadmaster.
Due to circumstances beyond my control, I ended up letting it sit and deteriorate. I sold it last year to someone who claims he's going to restore it.
I'm in a Cadillac phase at the moment, but I do love that style Town Car like in the video.

Can't beat a big luxury v8 boat.
Then soon the new daily will be my 2021 Ford bronco full sized.

Nice car, Brandon.
I wasn't fond of those when they were new. I thought they were too round and swoopy looking. But I appreciate them now. And that interior and dash are sweet.
A friend of mine has a new full-size Bronco coming too. I've seen the Sport at the local dealership, but didn't realize there's another version coming until he told me.

Lincoln Land

Oreck_XL and Brandon. Check out Lincoln Land in St. Pete FL. They have anything and everything Lincoln! I have used them several times. The last item I bought was a new float. The floats are different for the digital dash. Happy motoring and vacuuming!
