Does anyone knw exactly when Hoover/Candy moved production to China?

All I know is that it was the first part of the 2000's but it would be nice to know what year.

The announcement that the Cambuslang factory was to close was made in October 2003, but I'm not sure when it finally closed. I read online that production of the Purepower was moved to China before production of other models was transfered there.
