does anyone know the best way to paint these??

Ok so i have to convertibles but the one is no where ready to be painted yet still need some orginal parts but my model 66 is gleaming and looks amazing but i want to paint the metal white base, does anyone know the best paint to use and the best way to paint them it would help me out alot

If its not bad I would leave it original. I have painted convertibles before.

I had a vacuum shop sand down the base, (has to be very smooth!). I used 2 coats of primer, and 3 coats of Rustoleum gloss paint.

This one isn't quite finished yet, but gives you a good idea of what you can do with them.


Next my hoover 150s!

that turned out very nice!! ya im just tryin to decide weather i should or not, i have a near mint model 66 convertible but the white base got all scratched up!
