Generic procedure...

Your use of the word 'cable' may be throwing people off. By that do you mean the power cord?

I know nothing about this particular model but assuming it does not have a cord winder, you would need to disassemble the unit so you can get to both sides of where the cord enters it. Make a careful visual inspection, noting where the leads from the cord go and how they connect to They may simply unplug, as they do on American Electrolux/Aerus machines or they may be held on with wire nuts or crimp connectors. Disconnect or cut the leads as needed. Make sure you have what you need to reconnect the leads from the new cord. Always think at least two steps ahead.

Once that is done, cut the cord on the outside of the machine and discard it. Now comes the challenging part. You will need to remove the remaining bit of cord from the strain relief. Slit the outer jacket so you can get to the leads and pull them out one at a time. You may need to use pliers to do this. The first lead will be the most difficult. Once all the leads are out, pull outer jacket out of the strain relief, then use pliers to squeeze the strain relief and dislodge it. Do this carefully as ideally, you will want to be able to reuse it.

Put the strain relief on the new cord but do not push it into place in the machine yet. Thread the end of the cord into the machine and strip and reconnect the leads, using the appropriate connectors (wire nuts, crimp connectors, etc.). Once the cord is connected, push the strain relief back into place, leaving a little slack on the inside of the machine, then reassemble.

Hope this helps.
