I've hear about these but don't know much about them, and I don't see any threads on them either.

Decent, but . . .
If you go on YouTube, there are some videos on the Filter Queen. I, like you, was curious about the Filter Queen after seeing a demonstration and touring the factory in Strongsville, Ohio a few years ago. They are now located in Brooklyn, Ohio.
I decided to add one to my collection. I found one on Ebay for an out-the-door price that had been taken back due to an inability to keep up the payments. It had been cleaned and sanitized and had all the standard attachments. It is the model AT1100 Majestic and is in excellent condition.
It does a decent job in cleaning and has good filtration (per its name).
Here are some weak points about this vacuum. Dumping the dirt out of the basin negates the filtration as dirt flies up. The metal wand does not expand or contract. This is inconvenient when you need a shorter reach, depending out what you are cleaning. You can only use the attachments that come with the machine, as other standard attachments from other vacs cannot be used. There is no height adjustment on the power nozzle. Thus, brushing efficiency can vary depending on type of carpet. The filter cones work, but they are not cheap.
This is an okay vacuum for my collection and how I want to use it. However, I do not believe a brand new Majestic is worth the $3000 price tag they are asking.

I'm no expert on their history but I've owned a few. I've also had a Model 31, and 33 but I don't have any pictures of them anymore. Currently though I've only got 2, the princess II and a 360

I looked at their website a while back. These machines to me are very interesting looking.
I was wondering though, why is their feature set not comparable to other DTD vacs like Rainbow, Lux, or other brands of canister that sell in stores or online.
IE - no telescopic wand, no canister power switch on handle, no variable speed, no power nozzle or wand head light, no motorized mini tool, etc?
Not knocking them, I'm sure they are great quality, just wondering why they haven't updated their features to reflect other vacuums on today's market. Or are they able to compete on reputation or other special characteristics?

You have to remember that people are not buying them because they can compare them to the features on other vacuums. In fact, the people who buy them never ever intended to buy them. The salesman's job is to make the customer unhappy with what they currently have, and show them the solution is in the new "XYZ" model. They average person has no clue what features are available on today's vacuums. Headlights, telescopic wands, on-hose electrical functions, are all things no customer thinks about while watching the new "filter queen" pull all this dirt from their rugs and furniture. The old vacuum salesman's saying was "dazzle them with dirt and baffle them with bullshit". It's only once the salesman leaves and they've had the new vacuum a few months that they start to say "hey, wait a minute".

I have a Filter Queen Majestic that's been gathering dust in my barn for four or five years. I picked it up on a whim at Goodwill for $5 but it definitely wasn't the bargain I thought it would be. After dumping ten times that much money into it, I have a mediocre performing canister that still smells like dog piss. I need to dig it out and donate it to my church's rummage sale. Maybe they can recoup my original $5 investment.

The powerbeads used to have a 'headlight'....well, they didn't a long time ago, then they did...then they didn't. weird why they went away from them. I've got two ( bought one for $10 and put some work into it and the other for $5 w/o any accessories/wand/pn) Emptying them is the biggest dislike for me though I do like to observe what was pulled out of my home which is naturally easy with these.

Yeah, I just noticed in the pictures above some of them do have the headlight. I wonder why they don't now? I know some of the older ones used the power nozzle GE and Premier used.
The attachments on them are nice, I like the horsehair dustingbrush and swivel horsehair upholstery tool. I like the older style floor brush better though - it had a metal elbow whereas the one on the site is plastic.
I have never seen many Filter Queens around here, but I like the look of the Majestic models.

Has anyone found a normal bag that can be installed inside a Filter Queen vacuum instead of just that cone? Like the vacuum but dumping it out is such a mess. I find it funny that the filter queen video shows it being done inside the persons living room.

I don't know what model I have but it is chocolate brown and chrome. I bought it off eBay for 99 cents with maybe $18 or $19 shipping. Seller said it was dead and was for parts. When I got it I was totally blown away by the condition of it. It was like it just came out of the box, aside from surface rusting on the bottom, and missing all the tools and hose. The finish was dusty but not pot-marked or rusted or anything.
When I pulled out the cord, I seen why it did not turn on....the entire cord fell apart in my hands! It made a complete mess everywhere when it retracted back into the vacuum too. I have no clue how the seller did not electrocute themselves plugging it in like that. It had to have been stored in a damp or humid basement for decades and it just ruined the rubber on the cord.
