keep your eye on eBay and hook up with a local vac shop if you can. i got my 63 off ebay and with shipping it was around 60 dollars. the model 63 is over 50 years old now. you may have to search for a bit.

Everyone is home and no one is up. The internet is always dead at this time in the morning. The British are just waking up, the Californians are going to bed, and everyone on the east coast (aside from people like me) are in bed by now. The model 63s are all stored away in closets across America for the night.

Anyway, always good to attempt to make deals with people are half asleap and have no idea what they are doing. You might get a good deal that way. I know I have in the past.

Hoover Model 634 on ebay

There is a Hoover Model 634, which I believe is a slight variation of the Model 63 but sold about the same time, on ebay right now. Tom Anderson, myhooverco, can give you more details about the 634.
