I seen a Craigslist ad this weekend for a $5 vacuum, of course I had to go check it out. The seller claimed that she had bought, used it for a short period of time, then inherited a nicer machine from her mother and this one had been sitting around for a while. She said it worked, but thought it would need a new belt or something. It appeared to be in reasonable condition so I look the plunge and brought it home. It may have only been used for a short while, but I was in for a surprise when I started to open the poor thing up. Here is the bag chamber, there was not a bag installed.

More filth...

This was the sight I was greeted with when I opened the bottom of it up. And yes, there was a drywall screw and a feather stuck in the belt cover

Clean up time

Everybody in for a bath! Normally a good wipe down is sufficient but in think we need more scrubbing power.

All better!

After a work over with the magic eraser, all is well. Seems to be rather BOL,but it cleaned well.
