My grandpa had that same one when I was growing up... he got it for a present but returned it... he prefered a broom and a hoover quick broom and a hoover sprint straight suction canister that he found in the dump. I think the new ones look a little better (high praise indeed, for that's not a phrase you shall hear me utter with any degree of regularity!!), but that's a cool find. Of course when I hear Broom Vac I think of the REAL Broom Vac (the red upright) that I so adore... they should not have used that same name for two such different products.
How long does the battery last? I love the Dirt Devil stick vac that I found in the trash for quick pick ups, but the battery only lasts 7 minutes! Do you find it very powerful? Do you have to sweep with it and then turn it around vacuum separately (as I think I remember), or is it all in one step?
I've heard those mop vacs were dreadful... how do you like yours? Glad you have a matching set though... that's always a nice thing.
