I was out for dinner w/ friends tonight.  Being the WILD people we are .....afterwards, we stopped in a new store called Gabe's, located in a strip mall/shopping center recently purchased by Pro racecar driver, Joe Amato.  I immediately went for the vacuum aisle.  They had a few Sharks,  (skipped those) and focused on the HOOVER section, naturally.  To my surprise,  they were selling new Windtunnels for ONLY $49.00. You can imagine my surprise.  Just this afternoon,  my good friend, Tony told me he needed a new vacuum.  I will tell him about the fabulous deals he could get on a nice, new HOOVER. He and his brother own a furniture store.  He must always be frugal.   As he sometimes jokes about himself,  he'll quote  his favorite song , which  is "She works hard for the money,  so hard for it honey,  she works hard for the money so you better treat her right". It may not be the absolute top of the line, but, afterall, it IS a HOOVER.

I also spied with my little eye, a few steamvacs.

Of course mine is still going strong,  (no surprise there).  A few had some rips and tears on the labels, etc.  No major holes or anything that could impede the performance of the unit. So, I guess if one needed a new steamer,  a little thing like a hole in the box shouldn't really be a problem.  I mean,  the only people who even keep the box would be a collector. So,  some lucky people will scarf up these bargains. YAY!
