Different Power Nozzle...Different Dirt Picked Up

Has anyone else noticed how changing power nozzles can result in a suddenly large amount of dirt being picked up?
Maybe it is the different frequency of excitation by the different power nozzle designs, but I am always amazed at the difference when I occasionally change machines.

makes perfect sense , if it has better air flow path or stiffer , more aggressive bristles it will clean better , also the narrower the head the better it will clean as it concentrates the suction over a smaller area
