The Riccar model 8925 is a current model - it retails for $699. Interestingly, they are NOT assembled with HEPA bags in them, just the standard type B paper bag. So the inside will need a good cleaning. Use the type B HEPA bags in it, and you'll be fine. The electrostatic filter over the exhaust opening can be exchanged for a HEPA filter or you can continue using the electrostatic filter. The electrostatic filters come two in a pack, part number RF89-2. If you use the true HEPA bag (part number RBH-6) it will be unnecessary to use a Hepa exhaust filter, although you can. The belt is easy to replace - take care not to bend the linkage rod that controls the brush on/off. Brush bristles are replaceable without replacing the entire agitator assembly. That's an excellent, durable, bullet-proof machine. Hope you get it.
