Hey lads!
I've recently refurbished my friends Dyson DC25. She got it off eBay for 20 quid, it was in a pretty mint condition, just very dusty. A bit of elbow grease, spit and polish and it looks like brand new, me myself was impressed.
I gave both the pre and post (or A and B) motor filters a good soak and rinse. Dried for over 48 hours (it's been so hot in London I wouldn't be surprised if they dried within minutes to be fair). The pre motor filter works all fine, there's good airflow, good suction, even better than before.
However - I think somethings gone wrong with the exhaust filter. When fitted it makes it sound as if it struggled pushing air through it, and then it pops the filter out (even though it has a latch) stoping the ball from spinning smoothly. It was working fine before I washed it (which now makes me regret touching it in the first place). It just won't work with the filter on, it literally spits it out.
What have I done? (By the way, I did already order a new one)
