Dave from Statford came by today for some thrift-storing and vacuuming so without further adieu here's some pictures from my cam. He took some too but inadvertently deleted them but will have more tomorrow.

Here's Dave testing out my Kenmore

Daves Master vacuum he got not too long ago. Made for the Canadian Tire stores here in Canada. We think it pulled about 72 on the gauge.. the Royal and Electro H above both pulled 75 & 76.

The champion sucker though, my old Filter Queen 200a pulled a remarkable 92. Here it is with the FQ polisher

Dave thrilled to bits after he found this excellent condition Proctor Silex Juice-It. That's my Omega juicer next to it.

Next it was down to the Lido Lounge where floor washing was the order of the day pitting Daves vintage Hoover floor washer against the modern Hoover Floor Mate.
Little Ben taking it all in.

Pete it looks like you and Dave are having a ball!! That suction power on your Filter Queen is amazing!! Looking forward to more pictures.

Went around town to all the local Thrift stores.

Dave saw the potential of this lovely double breasted Hoover floor polisher at the Sally Ann under a thick layer of black grime. Well, I found it's true beauty after a quick wipedown with magic Eraser. The only rust is on the handle yoke, runs great and the cord in excellent condition.

Pete's Kenmore

OMG! I believe that is the Kenmore canister my mother had when I was a child. (Or, it's very, very simliar. The power nozzle looks a little different than I recall.) It's the first time I've seen one on this site, or since childhood for that matter. Would you mind posting a few more "close ups"? It would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Mike
