Recent reports in the news are claiming that toxic flame retardant chemicals are being found at dangerously high levels in household utensils made of black plastic. See the YouTube clip below.

Since most vacuums now include black attachments - especially those made by Wessel Werk - I wonder how dangerous it is for users to clean with them.

Comments? Thoughts?

If the black-coloured vacuum tools are made from recycled plastic from electronics, they may have the same dangerous toxins as described in the news clip. Certainly, there must be less danger of the toxins from vacuum tools leaking out, as compared to black plastic spatulas heated during cooking. But it’s kind of scary to think that the recycling process can leave dangerous toxins and chemicals in the material used to create new products. Even Sweden’s Electrolux company touted some of their canister cleaners as being made from mostly recycled plastics as part of their environmental awareness corporate ethics.

The air you breath is toxic. The water you drink is toxic. Even oxygen is toxic at too high of a level.

Flame retardation chemicals are in everything here in America. They should be trying to eliminate them but sadly American is a little slow on that.

Best thing to do is just use stainless steel if you want. You shouldnt be cooking with anything other than cast iron or SS.

As for your air you need to monitor CO2. Keep levels below 1000ppm.. preferably 800.

Filter your water

Remember if you can't pronounce it then it's bad for you.

Just use common sense

The new "fear of the week". The news is paid to promote clickbait garbage to distract you from what's happening to the country. Made to install fear and panic into those easily fooled.

Notice nobody is crying about the ABS plastic they have lived with for the past 40+ years.

Drink your Kool Aid out of red Tupperware pitchers and eat your steak on your uranium glass and be happy.
