I know people have already done this thread, but I know with lots of us our daily driver changes all the time, so this is just more if an update thread!
Anyway, I have a couple. First, my (rather messy) DC01 in blue:

Ours is

Our free Miele S5210, mainly because the missus loves it, and it's fecking brilliant!

However, I do push the Convertible, Turbopower and whatever randomness I have upstairs around.

I only have one main vacuum. Bought this a month or so ago off Amazon.I bought it after reading reviews of the Shark Navigator Lift Away and watching a few youtube videos. I must say it's a brilliant little cleaner. Far out performs the Nimble I had, I was shocked the first time I used it how much stuff it pulled up as I had thought the Nimble was a good vacuum. Got this for £99 ( would not have paid £199 that the Morphy Richards website is asking)and it came with a 5yr parts and labour guarantee. The lift away feature is a real boon for getting into awkward places and the floor head grooms the carpet really well without being too aggressive.

TriStar EXL; the most powerful vac I own. It outcleaned my CXL; but I use the CXL only for vacing with the Wessel Werk HEB160 because the MiniStar is too aggressive on upholstery. Sometimes I use the MiniStar for vacing car interiors & stairs. Wands, tools & PN are 1-step quick connect interlock; which makes vacing with a TriStar EXL more convenient.[this post was last edited: 3/9/2013-14:02]

Love my Kirbys

Hi All We use the Kirby Dual 80 for the carpets upstairs also the Heritage 2 with the attatchments for everything else up their and for a real good rug cleaning the G4. Main floor all carpet the G6 also a Heritage 2 for all above the floor cleaning. The Basement All carpet we use the Classic 3 and stillanother Heritage for above the floor cleaning. My local kirby dealer gave me all the Heritages for 25.00 each. Time to Kirby Doug

I now use an Electrolux AP280 (just got it from Kijiji Calgary). I used to use a JohnnyVac Jazz canister.

My mom (in Fort Wayne, IN) uses a Dyson DC25 Ball Animal.

Back in my childhood, our daily driver was a Kirby Tradition. We also had a Sears-Kenmore DynoMite canister vac for hard floors upstairs and down.

At my dad's house I normally use either my Eureka Surfacemax or my Dyson DC14. At my mom's house I use my Honeywell central vacuum. I'm actually looking for a new daily driver for my dad's house, and I'm thinking about either a vintage Eureka or Hoover.

Daily use machines...

Area rugs, both upstairs and downstairs, see the use of either the Eureka or my parents' Heritage II. Hard flooring and furniture downstairs is vacuumed by the Aerus Lux Classic, the solid flooring and furniture upstairs is done with the Electrolux Ultrasilencer (being more compact, it is easier to maneuver around beds and things).

Joe
