CWP brushroll's for vintage Electrolux, Hoover, Kirby, etc and an updated one

I saw a thread on the CWP brushroll's. Nice to see they offer them for many models of vacuums. not just Kirby's.

Anyway, I found they make a "modern" style brushroll for the Electrolux PN5, PN6 , etc

(I did a search on here and did not find mention of the EL205 brushroll.)


 


I made a montage to show the difference in the brushroll's.


It would be interesting to do a comparison.


Also, who knew CWP was called Cleveland Wood Products?

CWP joined the Scott & Fetzer family in 1970, the year the Kirby Classic vacuum was introduced.

If CWP joined Scott & Fetzer in 1970 then it ponders the question why didn't they, the brush roll experts themselves, update Kirby's out of date and rather anemic single row brush?
