I always wondered how the Comvac came to be. It seems like there were piles of old Kirby stock just lying around and someone thought it would be fun to combine all the decades into one machine. As a child, that would have been my choice of a "Lego Building Set"!
I'd like to see pictures of your CVD1600 with all its literature. I mean, I'd love to see what documentation is included with it, including a possible parts list.
Here's a tough question for all you COMVAC owners: didn't the very first machines get shipped out with the 301279 Reno Group belt? I know this will be a tough question because COMVACs are rare, especially those units with their original belts.
