Has anyone else seen this on ebay? I have never seen anything like this before. Looks like it was cut up with a fine tooth band saw for some reason. Anyway I contacted the seller to see if he would consider relisting it because I might have some use for it. Below is an image from the listing.

Then I don't guess it would be the vacuum part to the Hoover bag cleaner, would it? Just a thought...

The whole bag cleaner idea crossed my mind but after seeing how poorly it was cut I concluded it was a home made thing. Anyway, the seller says that it has been thrown out. Oh well.

I have seen this too. I bought one at the flea market about 7 or 8 years ago. It was a Hoover model 700. It was just the fan chamber and the motor nothing else. The plug that goes into the handle was how you turned it on and off simply by plugging it in. The older gentleman told me he used it as a leaf blower. I think I gave $2 or so for it. I used the motor in another restoration project along the way. I am very surprised to see another one!
