That is very kind! Email when you have a chance! I am on the mother's side of the generation gap. I find that older machines are well built and will last forever!

@dan, no one is "beating up on the rich". As aforementioned in my earlier post, which was also echoed by Greg, the discussion of money and "affluence" is in rather poor taste. So why not drop the subject?

I am not saying

anyone on here is . I hear it everyday that`s my point .I am not discussing

anything about money or afflunce just the fact that the two types of money people

are not bunched into the same group . I will NOT drop it I am in America and have

every right to freedom of speech ! Plus I am a paying member .

Alan & Gareth

OK, this stops right now. I'm not going to allow this thread to escalate into a pissing match about who said what and who meant what and who inferred what. Knock it off and stop instigating, hooverboy81.

Back to the Hoover model 33, please.

((Thank you for starting this thread, John... sorry it got hijacked.))

What a stunning example of a great HOOVER!

Whenever I change the belt in any of my Vacuum Cleaners I make sure when I'm resting it on its front it DOES NOT get marred.

Acrolect

That Custom Convertible is gorgeous! I have a very similar model, but the outer bag on mine is a gradient stripe pattern (similar to the Decade 80) rather than a floral pattern.

John, congratulations on finding your model 33! A neighbor of mine had one years ago with a red power switch, making for a striking color combination with the lavender and white. The Hoover gods have smiled on you once again with yet another Hoover to grace your already impressive collection!

BTW, here's a picture of my U4423...

Another Hoover Model 33

Just thought I would tack on to this interesting post. I just picked up a Model 33, it works great. It didn't look like this when I got it though, it was an estate sale find.

It has been a hit with the family and is now a daily driver. I kinda like the others I have since they have the head light, but the family doesn't seem to use those as much. Lots of comments about the color combination. I put a new belt on and bag of course. Thanks for looking.
