Are their any couples who share the joy of collecting vacuum cleaners on here? I always thought how much more fun it would be to have your significant other share the same hobby and also not be judged if you will for collecting. The vacuum collection community is alot larger than alot of people realize I sure felt alot better learning I was definitely not alone.

The premier couple into vacuum collecting would be Robert and Fred. They are an inspiration to many, and are what I consider to be a very ideal couple. They share each others interests in vintage appliances and vacuums. I'm sure that Fred taught vacuums to Robert, and Robert taught appliances to Fred. They represent the best of a union of collecting enthusiasts.

Well,
my wife loves vintage things and collects a few things. I introduced vacuum collecting to her and she thought that was awesome. She's not as into it as I am however she brings vacuums home for me(us) all the time. Our newest hobby now that we share together is a vintage Avco 32 foot motor home we just bought.

LOL firebirdman, your wife would LOVE my house! There's typewriters everywhere, my Smith-Corona Electra 110 sees almost daily use!

Whenever my old lady starts riding in on me like she's trying to win the Triple Crown, I'll just tell her to take her 97 lbs. into the kitchen and choke on a ham sandwich! No, I really don't want her to choke, maybe gag just a little bit, but not choke...just long enough so I can get a word in edge wise. Come to think about it, the only fight we really ever had was over a DIE...DIE...DIESON...OH NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Come to think about again, ever since we've had a KIRBY in the house, there's only been peace and tranquility beyond all blissful measure.

Relax.

Straight people are accepted here too.We don't judge. Right?
(Doesn't that sound different... on the other shoe?) Truly, I neither judge nor bash. There's room for everyone.
Speaking of typewriters: I have one straight out of the HOOVER Company, complete with embossed plate. Not bragging or gloating, simply sharing.
