I thought that at one point it had been painted. But looking online, there’s others the same color/texture. I can’t find it’s era, but it’s a neat little machine and it works quite well.

Beautiful!

I guess part of the reason I like it so much is because I wasn’t expecting very much from it. Once I switched it on, I saw how well it performs considering what it is.

Yours is super cool and very nice!

Thank you for sharing!!!

For hand vacs, I have this and a baby blue Royal. The rotating brush on the Royal makes it a bit better, but (at least for me) I think the suction on the HB is better. What do you think?

I have the HB model HV, too. It looks funky and I like it. The suction is surprising, indeed.

Anyone have an idea how old these things are?

I always liked the Hoover colors on their vacuums in the 1970s to the end of the 80s.
And the colors traveled from one model to another and from year to year even when the vacs changed from metal to plastic body.

I have the same Royal HV. It’s a great machine and as a servant of 2 cats, it’s super handy to use on my bedding, as my two royal highnesses insist on total comfort when sleeping, lol.

I’d love to know around when those HB vacs were manufactured. I’ve tried to look up that info, but no luck.

The Constellation is my very first. The second I test drove it I was hooked. It’s just so much fun to use, I love how it “floats.” I wish innovations like this would make a comeback. The modern vacs just are all so flimsy and boring to use.
