Countdown to Vacuum Collectors Convention 2023

In preparing to welcome our friends from all over the country for the vacuum cleaner collectors convention, September 15 and 16th, we are turning my garage into a space for all the Giveaway supplies, giveaway machines, and machines for sale.

Oh the irony. My friend Robert is helping to do the vacuuming, using a very old Hoover with a Riccar battery power nozzle. All the while, the not so SilentMaster just hangs around.

Look what I found. Kyle, David, Kierian, all the guys who restore the old ones. I have an entire box of brand new armatures for the upright Airway, and the upright dirtmaster. All in the free pile. Hate to see almost 100 year old armatures, brand new, go to the recycling.

Lots of people are responding to the raffle of the Kirby. Probably the biggest crowd this year we will ever have. People have been asking what else is up for a raffle. Here are four more machines that will be raffled September 16 at the vacuum cleaner collectors convention. The eureka self-propelled works properly and has all the rubber around its rear wheel. I have made videos on Facebook of the two Hoover's running and beating the dirt out of the carpet. The self-propelled Hoover works perfectly, and it is the anniversary model in blue and chrome. A five dollar raffle ticket and it could be yours. Yes, you have to be here to carry it away on Saturday.
