hhmmmm
I wouldn't get a Shark. Euro Pro makes terrible products... I remember when I sold vacs for Sears, the Shark sweepers always had the handles breaking right where they pivot.
When my Bissell GoVac went south, I bought a Swivel Sweeper to try out. At the time, I lived in a house with thick carpet. I had it two days and it would turn on for 2 seconds and then right back off. I got my first apartment shortly after, so I did an exchange and got a working one. The carpet in my apartment is very flat and the Swivel Sweeper does a decent job. It's a little loud for what it is and I hate that the switch is so far down. I'd prefer a toe tap switch. Very flimsy (the handle actually flexes when I push it sometimes). However, it is a whiz at picking up the cat litter. I have three cats and I'm reaching for that thing at least twice a day. I never have it on for more than a few minutes, but the battery last about two weeks. I do like the way it steers. I don't find the edge cleaner very helpful at all. Sometimes (like when I spilled rock salt making ice cream), you have to give a few passes in both directions to get everything up. Dirt chamber is microscopic and must be emptied every other use.
I would get the Bissell if I had it do to over again... it would be the best quality (which doesn't say much).
