Cordless Riccar Upright!

Electric mowers can weigh 50lbs and no one will care. If a vacuum weighs more than 15 people think it's unusable.

You could build a great, high power, cordless that makes a kirby seem light.

The cordless mower I now have that uses a lithium battery weighs well under 50Lbs.Most of the mowers weight is just that the battery-the lead acid ones are the heavy ones. The lithium battery ones are lighter than gas mowers. The gas mower does have the longer run time and no worry if you stall the gas motor. But I don't like the noise, maintenance, and smell. The lithium battery is just like what is used on many power tools.(Greenworks)Kobalt(sold thru Lowes makes similar machines.

I have used this bad
and I have to say, it's just as light as a corded freedom/supralight, cleans sand from carpets about as well as a miele, and the battery runs for at least an hour on a one hour charge. For the power and fact it's made in the states, I don't think the $500 price tag is too outrageous.

Riccar cordless

I hate it... it does not clean as well as my Regina stick broom from the 80's.. cant get under stuff. Not worth $300. Im interested in the Hoover task cordless.

Riccar and Simplicity have brought out a newer version with a more powerful motor. The model number of the newer models is R10CV.2 and S10CV.2 The ".2" signifies the newer motor. I think it cleans beautifully, and we have sold them to furniture stores, churches, restaurants, as well as home users. No one has complained, all compliment the machine when returning to buy disposable bags for it.

Riccar roam, I have

Maybe I didn't understand what vac you are discussing. I have the Riccar roam cordless, eufy homevac, and Hoover . All of them are disappointing to me. It makes me nutty they can't get the battery tech for the vacs. I have many many vacuums. My top fav is the Sebo Felix. Just got new clean obsessed canister that is very impressive. I wish it could become a slender upright! Anyone have a vorwerk? I'm intrigued by them. I'm researching latest battery tech for the very purpose of helping along the best vac ever!
