Cool eureka

We had a customer come by on Thursday with an old eureka with a burned up motor, his wife plugged it in and heavy smoke poured out of it. The customer wanted the motor replaced at any cost because it was the first major purchase him and his wife made when they first got married, Over 40 years ago, I though that was sweet.

You bet, it went to a one stage motor to a two stage motor. It is a new vacuum in a vintage body.

Very nice!  It's so cool that he wanted it repaired instead of pitching the whole thing in the garbage!

What motor did you install?

I wanted a domel but it was just a smeidge too tall so I had to use a two stage Amateke.
