I'm hoping more people will post more photos as well.
There was no 'Monster vac" competition this time. I don't have the list of "most" or "best".....restored, etc.
THere were many one stroke contests. I was asked..(summoned the the competiton floor)... to run a Hoover Slimline and a Hoover Guardsman upright..which won! I now have 2 blue ribbons.
As far as shenannighans....hmmm IF there were any, they were very discrete about it. As far as alcohol is concerned, I've never tasted any of it, so, ....
No one seemed 'out of control' or was doing anything that could get them in trouble with security, the police, etc. No one was asked to leave, thank goodness.
It was wonderful, indeed, to see so many familiar faces and a few new ones as well. Alsways a pleasure to see Miss Tania, the "First Lady" of vacuums. We heard about Scott's graduation and plans for college very soon. Good luck, Scott. Rick B. was there from California, after a few years of absence, ALWAYS great to see him, too. I'll post a few more pics as well. 45 attendees, including the great Ruth Hollander.
One must never confuse a convention with a mini meet, or even a mega meet.
