I hate mac and everything to do with apple. Its all over priced sh*t. I build my own pcs for fun. Ive put them in Fairbanks with oil, I've overclock one to 7 ghz with an unlocked xeon processor.

Nice typewriter! I have an old Silver Reed TW, it's a lovely machine. It's a bit unfair to compare it to a Mac though... lol

Completely fair!

Manual Typewriter-Insert paper. press to type!

Electric Typewriter-Plug in, turn on, insert paper, type!

Mac-Plug in, connect mouse, keyboard, etc, start mac, log in, open a document, type, buy a printer, connect printer, install printer software, put paper in printer, print document.

Far simpler, especially when printer ink is $40, and a Nylon typewriter ribbon is $12 (And I've been using the same ribbon since 2012!).

im a pc enthiest so yay i love computers, i have custom built my own computer and now im building another machince using quad titan blacks in the unit.

Don't get me wrong, I love both typewriters and Macs, but they're completely different and it seems a bit odd to compare them. Manual typewriters are non-electric and are used to writing letters, making documents etc. A Mac is a computer, it gives you access to the internet, you can create documents, listen to music, edit videos, watch DVDs, the list goes on...

Both are great in their own way, but are completely different.

about computers,

And yet there's little use to start a new thread. Or is there?

I love the video editing console, I still use Super 8 film, I only wish they still sold sound-on-film cartridges! The nice thing about filling cabinets is nobody can steal your files over the Internet! Think, 500 billion or some other ridiculous number of people use the internet, but how many people know how to break into your home and search through your paper files and steal stuff?

Speaking of editing, I'd love to build a dark-room! The closet thing I've got to editing is filming in Digital 8, then transferring to VHS!

Could you believe I have the box of an Amiga 1000 in the attic? It cost $1000 to buy it back in the day!
