I decided to use my old Compact C9 (I hadn't used it since putting a new Ametek 115923 motor) but I only have a electrified hose & its too short for dusting high shelves. Where can I find a hose that has a suction control valve? It doesn't matter if its non-electric; but it must be at least 10-15 ft long (I am going to use that hose mostly for above-floor vacing (around door frames, furniture & upholstery, ceiling fans & removing spider webs near ceiling)

btw, I still haven't put in a new power nozzle motor in the Eureka built nozzle; but I put in a Vibra Groomer 1 brush roller. I also need to find the crevice & upholstery tools (not sure if they are clear glitter or white; both got lost after the move) but I have the straight suction metal rug tool (I use that for vacing carpet) metal floor brush & clear glitter dusting brush (not sure if that is the correct one for my turquoise C9)

Metal floor tool rug tool and glitter brush can be found on ebay for  a  pricd post a pic of your Compact il tell ya if you  have the right brushes .Here mine.

Hey

Does a vibrance groomer brush fit c9 eureka branded interstate power nozzle?
Oh I found the best tool for hair on furniture or hair period. It's awesome.
I found this attachment on eBay has anyone tried it. It has 4 rolls and it looks kind of useful.

The first picture is the wonderful and powerful Vacuflo (brand) RugRat! Yes Vacuflo as in central vacuum. Nozzle has been around for almost 40 years and still is the "cream of the crop" Noisy bugger when used with a really powerful machine such as a Compact or a CV!
the second picture is the absolutely awful Compact (brand) "Magic Disc" carpet sweeper from the late 50's-early 60's sold as an accessory to compact vacuums. TOTALLY USELESS! A waste of $$$ back when the buck meant something. IN the 70's-80's these were at the thrift shops in the hundreds!

Hey

My first picture is the Kirby turbo brush from heritage convenience group. I've seen various versions this one.

I have a shopvac re bage version of the turbo tool i use it on my compact c9 love it also , now the 15 foot hose is on ebay for earlyer tristar compact yes but it has no suction release sadly ,To add a longer hose make sure your compact tristar has proper air flow filtration and bags !.The Vb 1 or 2 will fit the compact power nozzle yes .
