Compact Hepa filter upgrade on Compact C9

Im thinking of upgrading my beloved Compact IEC C9 Canister vacuum cleaner to a
HEPA Filtration ,I just upgrade the tired old dirty cloth bag to a bran new cloth bag works like new whit a paper bag,cloth bag , motor foam filter and exausht filter.Now my concern whill the dome shape Hepa influence the air flow of my vacuum any tought ? filter looks like

I don't think that would negatively affect it

As a matter of fact, I think that is a brilliant idea! I'm gonna do the same thing to both of my Compacts and my old Kenmore canister. Where do you get those filters?

Those are great filters. I used one on the Avocado Bomber when it still had the modern high airflow Lamb 115923 motor in it and it doesn't harm performance. The lid would still flex inward if you pulled suction, lol. Highly recommended. I wish I had clearance between the motor and the lid on some of my last gen square Kenmores so I could run this filter.

Well thanks alot Desert Tortoise i was not sure so i tought i better ask the expert on this forum As soon as i get a little extra $ ill order this filter .My compact is going to run better than ever now .Ill post pictures of me changing the filter for any one that wants to do the same to their compact or tristar vacuum cleaner .

for around 15 $ Hepa filter i added a new cloth bag , new paper bag and soon this hepa media filter cant wait to try it out ,Oh and i replace the belt in my power head so my compact electra c9 canister home cleaning system is running like the day she was born.

Ill keep everyone updated on her status once i get the filter .
