help!!!

my lovely compact c9 is arcking in the blower port blue alot what is wrong with her ???? help help help she is arking blue i can see it in blower port almost no suction help !?!? is it the carbon brush ??? Or am i better off replacing the whole motor ???

Hi Antoine, That motor that you selected is not the motor that is in your C-9, starting with the C-8 they used a hi performance motor. Your motor is repairable, have you ever taken a Compact apart? If you send me the motor I will repair it for you no charge. It might cost to much to ship the whole vacuum to me, you can if you want.

Yes. That link you shared IS the correct replacement motor for your machine. When you replace the old motor with the new one, the machine will be "new" as the motor is the heart of a vacuum cleaner. It's a good price for the replacement motor on eBay. Very good price.

Carbon brushes

Iirc correctly acting is usually the carbon brushes wore out scraping on metal.

I need help again the motor sounded strange then the fire alarm went off and i
smell like a burning smell i shut off imediatly open her up motor is hot all filter in palce dotn tel me i got a dud nooooo

was wired properly if its a dud i am asking for full REFUND!!!!

Here's a simple way to remember one speed canister vacuum wiring.

There are two leads from motor. Two from cord. Two from switch. Two from power nozzle receptacle.

Connect in this order:
One cord to One motor and One receptacle

One cord to one switch

One motor to one receptacle to one switch

In the end, there should be three wire nuts holding the eight leads in the above connections.

was wried acording to this NEED ADVICE NOW HELP i spent 100$ here

Dude

Swap the carbon brushes for old motor. There's no way there's 5000 hours on it.
I'd say try it the motors last forever.
