Greetings friends,

My dear friend Charlie Lester directed me to your site. I have just purchased a mainstay in my home town that has been in business for almost 40 years. Fortunately for you, the former two owners collected and saved everything. There are a number of vintage parts (most of them new, just never used). These parts range from complete vacuums to small parts like metal Hoover medallions.

Folks- I even think there is the metal base for a Eureka roto-matic hanging up in the shop somewhere, so get excited.

Stay tuned for the information. Myself and a truckload of high school kids will be doing an inventory of the store this weekend and all of the old parts I plan to offer on here.

Warmest Regards-

Christopher Nash

Hi Chris, thanks for calling me your dear friend but let's "keep it real" ... smile ... "I hardly know ye" heheh.

Good luck with your new store and "vintage inventory."

I thought it would make things a little better- but come on now, you are dear, and I consider you a friend- dear acquaintance at least!

Good luck with the inventory. If you happen to find an Electrolux Hospital G in there somewhere, I'd definitely be interested.

Bob

So far, I can tell you that there are several older pink or tan (partially colorblind here) Filter queens pretty much in tact and there are several Lux XXX models.

Feel free to email me your parts request lists- lots of new parts for older Kirbys and Eurekas have been discovered so far. I'm also realistic people- just plan on paying shipping and a few bucks for my time to pack it for you.

Chris (& Rick) & parts...

First off Chris, I put a note in the link below, this morning, I would be interested in the old Kirby parts.

Secondly & least importantly Rick, it's a 'huge list' of 'small parts'; however, they are going to be quality parts for minimal money, right?

And lastly & MOST importantly as I wrote at the link below, welcome Chris.

Cheers & hagd all,

Bill

Ps: I lived NE of you a bit, as few years back Chris, Fayetteville, NC.

Hey Chris!! Would you happen to know if there's any General Electric vacs or parts or Sunbeam vacs or parts in the stash? Let me know and welcome! Trg

Chris if there happens to be a set of tools for a Kirby G5 let me know. A friend of mine is looking for a set.

Welcome aboard Chris !!!

I would be interested in any vintage Hoover or Eureka parts you may find or units. I attempted to post this earlier but it didn't go through. Prolly due to my ignorance of how to do things. I also think HUGE PARTS are, well, very welcome :-). Enjoy the club Chris !!!

Hoover Concept Two Help Mate Filter and other misc parts.

Hoover Concept Two Help Mate Filter. I was going to ask if anyone new if the Help Mate filters was still around or where to get one and here I found this post. The Lord does work in mysterious ways.

Also looking for a few vintage Kirby Cords, Bags as well as an emptor or two. (My Dual 50 still has the original cord on it.) Plus my 508 or 509 need to check the model number again has a aftermarket bag with out the emptor and no hose. I also have a Wards (Eureka Rotomatic Powerteam) that needs a hose and a motor for the power nozzle.

I too would love a Hospital G if you found one.

royal tool sets, and rug/canister tools, royal upright adjust o rites, and outer bags. send lists of any royal parts

Congratulations Christopher!

Some one should have warned you about my outbursts!

You've got a big job ahead of you, but one that I'm sure will be real rewarding. I'm interested in what all turns up!

Rick

Oh the outbursts are fine- I tend to have them myself sometimes. There isn't anything too big that I can't handle! Of course, it helps to have the high school kids to help out...
