Some new machines which (for me) have made my collection complete. I’m still processing the incredibly kind and generous act of this person (you know who you are). I’m overwhelmed (in a good way)! All machines are complete with all attachments and accessories (those pics will come later).

Her they are:
Kirby 511
Kirby D50
Filter Queen Princess (red one).

Also, the older family all together...

BEAUTIFUL collection!

And in such amazing condition! Something to be extremely proud of and happy to display! I also spy a beautiful Electrolux XXX hiding in a couple of those photos!!

Hey

Is the vacuum with red cord ends a 560. Where is your sanatronic 7.
I recently got a 560 bag same red cord etc. I have a 519 I also got. I spent $15 altogether.
Mine are not shiny as yours but 560 is in great shape needs polished.
I noticed 511 you got Mike's bag I have the same one for my 510. I noticed gray handle is it original if so it's rare.
Nice collection. You have an awesome friend.
Les

Congratulations Chris!

Will you rotate and enjoy using all of them, or are some for preserving?

one of those red princesses, I sold them new in the vac shop where I worked years ago

what year is the read princess?

I just saw one in a thrift store for $24 but it didn't have that accessories or power nozzle....think it had a tube

Les, the one with the red plugs is a 518. The handle grip on the 511 is original. The VII I have off to the side, as I’ve used it for parts on another Sanitronic that I’m refurbishing to give to my dad.

Completenutt: Thank you! I’ll be using them (though very lightly). I was in automotive for 13 years and am of the belief that machines need to be ran or they break even faster. Vacuums I’ve learned are different though, some components are rare and or delicate so I need to be careful.

Kenkart and Rivstg1: That’s cool you sold them, were they popular? I don’t know what year it is, but if anyone knows how to read the serial number, we can figure out the age...

Yes we didI

I worked in a vac shop in 82 and 83 and we sold Princess, Turbotronic, Panasonic and Air Way, I think the Princess changed to gray not long after I started, I was always sorry I didn't get one of them.

That’s awesome!

I’ve always been fascinated with vac shops. There’s always something, no matter how small, that’s unique and hard to obtain inside them. The one here in town isn’t much to talk about, sadly, but I’ve never been in the work area either.

This is my first Filter Queen machine, and I’m loving using it. It’s so quiet and does such a great job.

Very nice collection.

However, I have bad news. With this addiction, your collection is never complete. There is always going to be one more you just have to have.

Princess/addiction...

I think the Princess is an ‘80, but I’m not 100% confident on it, but reasonably sure.

Yeah, I’m trying to tell myself that it’s complete, lol. I have the machines that I’ve been after for a long time, and am telling myself that I don’t need any more. So far (for 2 days) I’ve been good and have only focused on my newest additions (511, D50, Princess) and their attachments. I’m sure I’ll run across something eventually, lol. Its so hard to pass on something especially if all it needs is a good spa day.
