Howdy all!

Got a BARGAIN at the market today :)
I got a CMS 1000 with all the attachments, spare belts and spare filters with the original manual for only $20! The guy had a staff full of different shit... and it was all dusty and dirty. He said he wanted $40 and I said $20 and he was happy with that.

I cleaned it up, took 3 damp cloths to remove all the dust and dirt from the unit! but it came up a treat and had very few scratches/marks on it that wouldn't come off. I have a particular passion for this machine as I have a BNIB machine that I paid $220 for but didn't want to use because they are pretty rare :)

I will post some pics shortly. Does anyone else have this machine and care to tell me about their experiences, especially with the carpet powder.

WOW! I was just coming to post that I found one today too at a Thrift Store! It came with the attachments in the original box and some extra filters. No belts or manual though -- but who's complaining for $7.50? :)

I was quite thrilled. I moved so fast when I saw it too. I used to have one a few years ago but had to sell it when money was tight.

My baby's come home!!!
