cloth or paper bags

backpack vacuum bag

Well, I got my first backpack vacuum, the proteam super coach. It actually came with a paper bag installed along with a spare. I'm debating whether to go ahead and use those two bags and then get some cloth ones, or just toss the paper bags and go for the cloth ones right away. The suction is definitely good, but I'm sure the cloth bags would provide much better air flow.

Definitely cloth bags. My newest vacuum cleaner is 17 years old and I use cloth bags in all of my vacuum cleaners. Reason is what have been said here before: Bag compartment stays clean, it doesn't lose suction and cloth is more durable material.
When I bought my Kärcher CV36/2 (SEBO BS36) upright it came with the paper bag. Once when I tryed to shahe it empty it actually was torn and now it uses cloth bag. Bag is for canister, but I adapted it to fit it. With the cyclone "bag saver" it is just a large filter. About 95% of the dust stays in the bag saver.
Later I will order geniune Sebo bags for it. But now I really don't need to.
