Does anyone have a usable cloth Airway bag? I am looking to buy one for my bench vacuum. I have an Airway (vita-vac) I use at the work bench wich works great I just hate the generic bags they clog so fast and the original style bags are a little pricey for bench vac use.

Thanks,
Seth

I have a spare cloth Air-Way bag. Have you ever considered buying the off-brand cloth Hepa filtration bags for a Hoover (type A would work well), cutting them open, and inserting them into the bag compartment of your Vita-Vac? By reusing a single plastic bag top, you could have MUCH better filtration than the cloth bag. I've used the cloth bag in my Air-Way for a short period of time, but the tremendous amount of very fine dust leaking was unacceptable to me - the motor's life would be significantly shortened if the cloth bag was used exclusively. The cloth bag was actually designed just for the salesman to demonstrate with, not for regular use. But if you really, really want one, I'll sell you one.

Interesting idea

I had thought about ways to "rig" a better paper bag into it. I think I will purchase your cloth bag just the same and see how that works. If im not satisfied with the filtration I will explore other options. Maybe the cloth bag used with a paper insert? Something like Royal used on the Pony and Power Tank canisters.

Thanks!
