by, me. I used to take it personally when guys were rude, or even when my posts were completely ignored. I am sure there was no concerted effort to ignore my posts. But the rudeness...? To react was giving those guys, power they don't deserve.

I loved your posts about how proud you were of your Compacts. I neglected to read all posts to have read anything those guys wrote to you. I too have been busy with life away from VL.

No matter where you go, clubs, groups, work, there are those who are bullies. Great thing is "they get theirs in the end".

To the bullies who will want to attack me, don't bother. I have developed "thick skin" from your attacks. I believe somewhere in you, is a scared child.

I took a long hiatus and haven't been too active on here. The problem with me was me not the board. I was rude to people and arguing etc. Keep the compact alive I still use my yellow c9 quite a bit. Thanks for your help and do what you need to.

Antoine, I am sorry to see you go. And I feel your pain. I have mental health issues as well here, and hey, what can I say, I am always working on it. As they say, "Life is a work in progress". Like you, I have also felt there are certain members on here who are snobs and think they are better than others....have seen some of my posts and comments ignored many times on here. It may also be due to my posting style and going after a few members on here in the past, who knows.

But I don't let it get to me. Why? BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW ME IN REAL LIFE! If they DID, they would find a great guy with a sense of humor, a circle of great friends, with a normal life who just so happens to have a peculiar hobby.

Look, I have always enjoyed your posts, and I think you're a great guy. We would likely be good friends if we got to know each other. I am going to leave my email address showing in my profile for the next couple of weeks, so if you want to email me to talk that way, or maybe even by other ways, you will have a way to get in touch. Glad to hear it!
You certainly don't want to do anything that causes you emotional distress. This is supposed to be fun.
But, personally, I'm happy to hear that you're going to give it another chance.
Like you said; if someone is rude to you, just don't bother with them. Maybe that's easier said than done. But, some of us do enjoy your posts, and your passion for your Compacts.

um,   have you HEARD the stuff written about ME?    It USED to bother me.  Now, I, like you,  just ignore it and move on.  There are plenty of nice people in here.  I've made life-long friendships through this.  Then, again,  there have been others... it's 'life'.


 I decided, long ago, never to let anyone make me THAT upset in here.


 So, I enjoy my friends, their posts,  I post pics, stories, events ,etc.


  All anyone has to do is ignore, OR  "hide that person or persons".

Some good and bad apples in life

Yep there are some good people and bad ones too in this works and that is reality. Crazy the drama created by some but the trick is to realize this and therefore avoid and ignore those bad ones and stay focused on the good ones and only interact with the ones you enjoy. I know that there are people in life who will not like my way of life and be mean to me…but I don’t want their company or approval because I know there are plenty who will like me for who I am. So it is those people who don’t like the way I am that will lose out of knowing the wonderful person I am.

Good luck if you do move on from here and may you find places to continue to enjoy your vacuum hobby in more pleasant surroundings. I’ve moved on to brand specific Facebook groups recently with much enjoyment.

i quit  all vacuum  group on facebook and came back  here after posting this  warning post im not having much issue  if so i just    block em   period   .
