So, We are planning to move in 2016. If we do, the houses we are considering have Front Rooms/Parlors/Sitting rooms (whatever you choose to call it). So, im going to get my furniture out of storage to use these. Whats the best way to clean it? You can see it in the Pictures, at my storage place, bedroom
Also, here are some pictures I took outside the house (im staying in this one), and I can furnish it how I wish! when the sun was going down. My poor Truck, snowed in with a flat tire! Good thing the van was inside! There are 2 google map pictures of the house as well
Thanks!

Kirby all day!

I found an antique chair, similar to the one you show in your first picture, by our apartment's dumpster.  I cleaned off the wood by hand using a cleaning polish.  For the upholstery, I used my Kirby Ultimate G Diamond Edition in canister mode with the Zippbrush.  I then put the Kirby into blower mode and used the portable shampoo sprayer to apply Kirby suds to the upholstery.  I used a white cloth to work the suds into the upholstered part.  I then let it dry for a few hours.  When it was dry, I reused the Kirby with the Zippbrush to pull out the grime and shampoo.  Worked like a charm!

Hi will stain x high foam also work on that antique chair I have a customer that has a similar chair and I wondered if that would work.

Thank you very much for your input.

You have several wonderful pieces there.

Maybe something like renting a Rug Doctor with the upholstery tool. I've used that before. You may need the RD for cleaning carpets in your new place, as well.

If you don't want to spend money on that, consider using a simple shop vac. Put the shop vac in liquid pick up and use an furniture tool. Use a spray bottle or a typical garden sprayer, filled with mild upholstery cleaner. Mask any areas you don't want getting sprayed with a simple towel.

Spray the liquid on, then vacuum it off.

I will look into those! Actually, that house with all the furniture everywhere is where Im moving into! Im going through my stuff there, as most is garbage, or Im storing for the family. its a 5 acre lot that sits on 75 acres of farmland. I have 2 Lux Shampooers I can uses on the carpet. I will hopefully give better updates once Im moved in late 2016. Most furniture is staying, but the boxes belong to my Uncle who is moving right now. He needed somewhere to put them for a few weeks. Ill get some pictures this spring
