Christian Klingspor Eureka

My local vacuum shop just threw away a Christian Klinspor Eureka upright, cord cut and in several pieces. Only having seen them in catalogues, I thought it might be something of a rarity so I picked it up. Can anyone tell me about when they were made and if there is anything special about them as compared to the rest of the Eureka lineup at that time?

Those were made around the time I moved my vac shop to NC, late 1990's. I may have sold a few of them. Christian Klingspor is evidently a well known designer of some sort. Forgive me for not being so up on those kind of things. It was a dressed up Eureka Victory.
