There is a beautiful 1960s Rainbow with the demonstrator kit and accessories on ebay....I think the starting bid is $399. What would you be wiling to pay for this???

Not $399! I see Rainbows like this at yards sales and the flea market, etc. all the time for under $50. It may be because Rainbow WAS and IS still a major seller in my town. They are everywhere. Kirby, Filter Queen and Aerus/Electrolux come in second. They still sell tons of those too.

Where is the demonstration kit? All I see is the basic Rainbow with the standard attachments. The only thing that is really rare at all is the Polichamp polisher, but other than that, I don't see anything all that unusual. I've seen old Rexairs on ebay with more rare stuff than this one. I think the seller is trying to embellish their listing to make it seem like its worth more than it really is. I see they lowered their price to only 299 now, whew! What a bargain!
