Hey
So I've been watching 3 vacuums sold as a package. They were asking $20. I asked if they'd take $10.
There is an omega which I have a bag for. The fill tube on its for the Royal. The royal is 18" commercial version likely 10 amp. The other looks like a 562 sanitronic.
I have parts for all the machines. I could flip the vacuums making a little money while having fun doing it.

Sounds like a worthwhile project. I use that line of thinking to rationalize further acquisitions but then, because I am a vacuholic and I am powerless over my addiction, I end up keeping them.

Almost

I'm going to get the vacuums on my way home from work tonight. The 18" royal will be tempting to keep. The other two I already own so we'll see. I will have to try them out a few times first.

Resilts

I cleaned them up and washed the bags.
The royal was a 1058z made 11/2000 8 amp motor in cleveland ohio. I was expecting a screamer vacuum. It sounds really good and I don't really hear the fan it just sounds like it's inhaling alot of air.
The kirby's are an omega and a 561. The omega is original except it has a sanitronic bag with a sanitronic bag topper. It has a 561 emtor with grey tray. It runs like a champ too.
The 561 is basically a 562 in a 561 shell . It has a 561 emtor with grey tray and sweet aire. It's got a kirby brown sanitronic open top bag. It has a classic 1 cord. It's light is missing. I tried spinning the fan and the spindle came off. I'm going to pull the motor and make sure the thrust washer and the bearings are installed correctly. I'm just not turning it on until I know everything is installed correctly.
I really like the royal. The omega I'm going to put the right bag and emtor on. The 561 isn't a sanitronic vacuum. I put correct wheels trim etc. I have a bag that's grey with red k's on it I'll put on it. I'm going to put original nozzle on it and original cord.
With all the extra parts the machines will be no longer bojacked.
It's not a bad haul for $10. I have to convince myself I need to sell them but we shall see. I've sold all my cannisters except my compact/tristars and rainbows.
