I have a Nutone VC 475 xx that shuts off during use like some one turn off the switch but the hose that is recently
Replace new used hose I can hear the switch internally clicking on off but nothing as I manually try to turn it on
With the hose . So I'm stup what is causing this ???? I'll be using the vacuum with the 35 foot hose and all of sudden
Powers off mid use machine is not warm not overly hot I am at a lost should I change the inlet valve ?????????
Can some one help me kindly I want to use my central vacuum more .

Hi there. I think your hose is fine. Those Nutine units had below average quality for central vacuums and had various circuit board/motor problems. For you, it sounds like either the over heat protector has gone, or the circuit board is faulty. Probably not worth lots of fixing as they have other common faults too. I am sorry to say, you might looking at another unit.
