Cats next to vacuun cleaners

Not exactly what you're looking for, but...

When I went to go pick up my Windtunnel Dual V, the original owner had a cat. I was ecstatic to see it, and pet it a lot. The owner said that she (I think it was a she, but I'm not entirely sure) normally wasn't friendly, so the fact that she was to me is pretty cool. Also, when I was cleaning the machine out later that night, the Windtunnel portion of it was plugged up with cat hair. That probably gives some insight into its backstory lol.

Same. I love them to death, even if they were a commercial failure for Hoover. Hopefully I can scrounge up the parts that it needs to be back up and running (which isn't a whole lot, at it's in decent condition from what I've seen. The only problems with it are a few cracked parts here and there, the dusting brush being nasty, having the Hoover lean, and it's headlight bulb being burnt out (why it's not the same type as previous generation WTs is beyond me), oh, and I also want to switch out the Twin Chamber cup for the Savvy bag set-up.

He does!
But, he really only cozies up to the Orecks. Before this one, I had a different Oreck there, and he was the same way with that one!
I should try an experiment, and rotate different brands to that spot, and see what he does. Maybe a Hoover Convertible next?
He's quite a character, that Louie! LOL

He for sure rubbed on it, not sure if marking or itch. Henry for 3 years? Love the sound, the power and the long lay flat cord! I trip on modern plastic like cords that loop from memory of the wrap or reel.

Great pictures, David!
I wish we could have more than one cat at a time. We've shared our home with three, over the years. And, every one of them has been an "only child".
The first two definitely did not like other cats around. Louie, our current boy, we don't know for sure.
But, he can be very ornery when he wants to be. And, at 15 pounds, down from 18 when we first got him, he could definitely do some damage if he wanted to. He's never been fat. Even at 18 pounds, he was all muscle!
We adopted him three or so years ago, as a stray who was hanging around my in-laws' yard. He was trapped, with the intent of doing a neuter and return. But, we were asked if we would mind taking him in while he recuperated, and he never ended up going back. He's a strictly indoor kitty now. Well, except for the few times that he's scooted out. Fortunately, he didn't go too far, and I was able to scoop him up every time.
Sometimes, we wonder if he'd like another cat to play with. He has a ton of energy! But, we don't want to bring home a cat, give our hearts to him or her, and then have to get rid of them because Louie won't accept them.

You know, now that we're on the topic of Louie, could it be possible that he cuddles up to Orecks unintentionally? JustJunque, you mentioned that lately you've been quite fond of Orecks, maybe Louie realized this and is now cuddling in front of Orecks so that when you look for Orecks in your house you'll find him instead, He's jealous of the attention you give to the Orecks!!!
