Damn! I am after a Hoover Turbopower but we never get them. There was also one of those Dirt Devil Electrolux Countour based uprights, didn't ask price. Also saw a Morphy Richards pod Upright too.

No worries, I always look out anyway, will check the serial of any I see and get them if after 1990. I collect the Juniors anyway, so well trained in spotting a turbopower handle poking out!

DC14. Seller wanted £60 for it

Some bagless cylinder with no tools
Dustbuster 9.6v with the floor tool and handle
Hoover Aquajet 5000
Hoover Junior U1104 with paint on the bag, wobbly belt pulley and full of voices. Seller scoffed at my offer of £2, saying it was an antique. I checked the serial, told her it wasn't and walked away as she was asking how old it was (1986)

I came away with something, when I get home I will put up a thread!

Picked up a Hoover dustette and a Hoover Handy today. Took a snap of the carboot.

Hoover Handy, is that a modern thing or older?
Top photoage though! We nearly went to a carboot on Sunday, but it was miles away, we had no idea if it would be any good, no idea how far out of the way a cash point would be and then ran out of time to go!

Oh, and to our american coisins, the above photo shows carboots in all their glory! People walking across a damp field on a grey day, looking misreably at tat!

Todays Spots

Tetsworth was nice and busy. I saw...

DC07 with a missing inspection tube. Seller wouldn't budge from a tenner
DC25 missing the red pedal and the whole mechanism was flapping around. Wouldn't budge from 25, and got quite snotty when I loudly listed it's faults and told me to do one. Gave him some verbals and left it

So no vacs for me this morning, but did come home with a little ride on ladybugs for my daughter, and an old laptop running win xp for my car diagnostic software.

I also went to the tip to get rid of some old oil, and saw about 40 various dysons, none of which were for sale, already destined for recycling. I could have cried, they looked perfect. They had a few in the shop, £30 for a dc07 with no tools and in mingling condition. I feel like I give people a bargain now selling mint 07s with new belts filters and tools for £60 now!

May yet go to west Wycombe, have t even had lunch yet though

I saw 2X Hoover Turbo powers yellow (bananna hoovers) and hads the extension wands etc! didnt bother
Saw more vacs, but no dysons

West wycombe had nothing! I bought a Carling pump light which needs some voltage dropping power supply to fix! All I saw at west wycombe was a Vax bagless cylinder, and some Hoover Rush things bnib.
