Trying to keep this open for across the pond too, although my initial inspiration for this was carboot sales!

So, the only machines I saw yesterday were:

Henry of unknown age, battered and taped hose, single rocker switch to the rear, white outlined Henry logo
Some no-name plastivac
Miele Eco cylinder with no small tools and the graphics on top had worn off so I couldn't see what it really was
Hoover Junior U1036 (cheating slightly as I was selling it!)
Hoover Junior 119 (Now at my flat!)
DC01 Yellow/grey (if I hadn't bought the 119 I'd have asked about this)
DC01 Hepa in mint condition with a massive bag of genuine filters and other parts. Seller wanted £20, it sold quickly. I felt bad haggling as it seemed a fair price so left it
DC14 White
Vax bagless upright thing

What do people reckon? I think I could manage to create a list every time I go of what's being sold! Could get a better idea of what gets sold around the country/world!

Bonus points for pictures too! (again slightly cheating as it's my stall, but I'll try and do it properly next week!)

From Hoover Junior 119

OK well Chirk wasn't as good as it normaly is (1/3 of stalls weren't there) but yeaterday I saw:

Dyson DC04 Green/Grey - already bought by a stall holder.
Dyson DC01 Grey/Blue - only had the crevice tool with it.
Dyson DC04 Grey/Yellow - bin was full & it was filthy but had tools.
Vax Bagless Upright - filthy dust bin/filter, woman wanted £30 for it!!!
Dirt Devil Titan - good condition selling next to Vax but she wanted £20 for this, was tempted but left it.
Vax 101 - now in my ownership!
Hoover Junior from 1960's, I could only see the bag.
Hoover Junior - late 1980's, bags had flower patterns on it.
Old Henry but lid was covered in paint & was filthy (poor thing!)
Hoover Model 160 with box & receipt (I confess Dad bought it off the car boot a few weeks ago)but he paid £2 for it, it worked & sold it for £265 to a man in Italy. Have got a pic of it which I will post later.

This is good you have done this Beko1987. I was waiting for someone to do it & I think if you're like me & go every weekend then when you come back post what you have found or seen. That's what I & a lot of others will be doing I think.

Thanks so much!!!!

Oh, and I've only ever been to one carboot sale, and all I found was a Dyson DC14 in really bad condition, and the seller wanted £30 for it! But to be honest, I wouldn't have bought it if it was £5! :P

We couldn't believe how much the price rocketed! It went to an Italian Man who thinks that money is an object! Quite funny as Dad said shipping would be around £200 & he said 'that's ok'

Saw it in the garage, it worked well, and I'd not touched it in 2 years. Judging by the few on eBay it wasn't worth the listing fee and postage, plus I love stumbling across old vacs at the car boot, and thankfully Jake came along to give it the home it deserved.

Yes we do get some vintage models our way but a lot of people come from Liverpool/Manchester and sell house clearance stuff for example when you can find some good stuff there.

I always look out for the house clearance vans, some bargains to be had! Saw an early Goblin Aztec at one last year but ut only had it's hose and was £10 so passed on that one! They normally have the scrappy dysons and ruined plastivacs!

Well on a clearance carboot amongst half used boxes of Persil & lots of tat, I saw a Hotpoint Light n Easy but the bag was off & also saw two 1960's Hoover Juniors except the zip had broken on both of them & they stank so I left them.

Busy day today

We had a stall on 2 carboots today, and made about £100.

From Car Boot

Tetsworth was very busy, busiest I've seen it in years!

Cleaner wise, there was this vax, Battered Miele cat and dog cylinder with 2 boxes of bags (went quickly) an Electrolux SuperBroom and Bissel Magic Broom.

From Car Boot

Our stall in the morning

From Car Boot

No one wanted some convertible or dirt devil handy belts!

From Car Boot

However, the afternoon one was much better, I got these for £11 the pair in the end

From Car Boot

Both pretty fecked, but I have a plan!

Also seen was a DC25 for £60, and a 2005 Henry with no hose or tools for an unknown price as I walked off at that point.

The valve pipe adapter is missing from the absolute+, so I nicked the one from the yellow one, which is heavily used and put the yellow one out for sale for a laugh

From Car Boot

Sadly no-one took it (the really important missing part being the obvious cause!), but it had alot of interest, which will hopefully be important later on!

Anyone else go to any boots?

Beat your Dyson prices - picked up another DC04 for £1 today! I did not want any more vacs but there was a Kirby Heritage ll for £20 & you could say I was pressured into buying from Mum / Dad. Also got a Vax 2100 but dosen't work & Vax Spot Scrubber, plus Hoover Turbopower 2 Belts/Bags for 30p. REMINDER: MUST SELL SOME VACUUMS BEFORE I BUY MORE!!!!
