I have an Oreck steam mop that is less than a year old. Today when I went to remove the floor head from the steam unit it didn't separate like it should and a piece of the steam unit was left stuck in the floor head. I'll let the pictures give your a better idea of what happened. If if it can be repaired is it worth the cost verses buying a new steam mop?

If its less than a year old

It should still have the manufacturers warranty...I would call Oreck customer service
