Can I use a hoover for this?

Hey guys, i used my hoover floor polisher as a floor scrubber,Is this a good idea? First show a picture of the machine front and back and then I’ll show photos of the towelsAre used the tank in the Hoover floor polisher to put a mixture of water and floor cleaner onto the floor, and the photo of the towels is what are used to wipe up the water that the floor polisher scrubbed into the floor

Hi, Of course you can!

Depending on the brushes, pads, etc you use. It was made for this. There are scrubber brushes, wool pads, soft pads, steel wool, and long bristle brushes for carpets.

Yes, that is what this is for. It's just the terminology they used then. You scrub the floor clean with the floor scrubber brushes then polish it with the waxing pads.

I have an old GE Floor Waxer that I got for cheap because my concrete basement floor was filthy and I needed it cleaned and conventional floor scrubbers were way too expensive. It came with a carpet-only scrubbing brush attached but the brush was already crumpled from decades of sitting flat on its bottom and ruined. I used it on the floor and it worked very well and scrubbed the floor very clean.

Oh cool, can someone try and find which brush I should use?

As I have both the nylon soft brushes and a hard vegetable brush, (the reason why I’m calling it a vegetable brush it’s because on the certified pile brush they have the same material for the brush but they call a vegetable brush ) I did use the nylon brush on the tile, but I think that would probably better be used for spreading polish so using the vegetable brush would potentially be a better fit for scrubbing floors hopefully someone can help me out

The "scrubber" brushes are stiff

usually brown in the center and yellow around the edges.
To "polish", you snap the "pads" over them.
