I would just like to know if anyone knows or has a certain Hoover spring that I have no idea where to get. I have a model 14 the blue Lark and while I was putting new brushes on the the brush roll and putting it in the cleaner one of the medal springs that is inside the latch to hold the brush roll in place broke. On the Hoover's made in the 1950's and earlier there were latches inside on each side to lock the brush roll in place. Does anyone have a Lark parts machine or know how I can get a spring? The Spring causes tension so the latch closes tight on the agitator cap holding the brush roll in place. I hope I can find one Any help would be appreciated Message me on here or my email [email protected] Thanks Sincerely Sam

The spring that you need is not like a coil spring correct? It is more like a U shape bail spring. These are the same springs they use on the Hoover 28 and 29, and probably others. I have a parts diagram for the model 14, 28, and 29, The springs are all listed with the same part #'s. 32712 is the Right Hand. 32713 is the Left Hand. RH and LH are from the operating position standing behind the machine. I know I have some. Email me your address again, because I delete old emails. My email is [email protected] Let me know which side you need and I will pop it into an envelope,
